Bulldog Tutors’ Director of Admissions Consulting Jessica Magro is giving presentations in Madison, CT, on March 17 and March 31 exploring different aspects of the college admissions process.
The E.C. Scranton Memorial Library is sponsoring both presentations, which will be held in the North Madison Congregational Church. Each runs from 7 to 8 p.m. Guests may sign up by calling the library at (203) 245-7365, but registration is not required to attend.
In the March 17 presentation, Jessica will detail the differences between the SAT and ACT college admissions tests. Colleges and universities generally accept either test. Jessica will discuss how students can determine which one is best suited for their strengths, as well as the importance of test prep. The presentation would be most useful for parents of students from 9th grade through 12th grade.

The March 31 presentation is entitled Decoding the College Admissions Process. Jessica will explore the full range of issues that play key roles in successful college admissions, from grades to SAT and ACT scores, extracurriculars, building the right college list, acing college interviews, and more. This presentation would be useful for parents of students from 6th grade through 12th grade.
